Charlo Bros the next Klitschko's?

Everything turned gold for the Charlo brothers over the weekend. Jermall had a great step up win over an extremely durable fighter in Derevyanchenko and Jermell became the Unified 154lbs champ with a statement win ending via a Jab to the solar plexis.

After what I saw in the ring on Saturday it confirmed in my mind that the Charlo brothers are here to stay. The Klitschko brothers were able to reign over the heavyweight division for many the Charlo's reign over the middleweight and Junior middleweight divisions just beginning?

Jermell only has one more belt to grab from Teixeira at 154lbs and then what would be next for him? A trilogy with Tony Harrison is unlikely due to Charlo getting the decisive stoppage in their second meeting so that only really leaves Erislandy Lara as a clear next contender in line (holds the WBA regular title).....But first things first... let's hope management/promoters keep the train rolling and book the Teixeira fight next so in the words of Deontay Wilder, "there will be one face and one name of the division".

Jermall answered many questions with his WAR victory over Derevyanchenko. His power and skillset has proved to be a force in the division and warrants another blockbuster matchup....he has options as the division currently has 3 other champions in Canelo (WBA), Gennady Golovkin (IBF) and Demetrius Andrade (WBO)..... A clear next fight for Jermall would be GGG in my mind. GGG last opponent was Derevyanchenko who he defeated in a controversial decision in which he took plenty of damage and seemed to show some signs of father time catching up to him. If i'm Charlo's manager i'd be looking to strike now and make that fight in attempt to grab another belt at 160lbs. If Jermall can pull this off it would warrant a fight against Canelo...leading to stardom and a massive check win or lose.

The Charlo brothers are fun fighters to watch...they look for the finish....they have personality and flash...the future will tell if these brothers can reign as kings for years to come as the Klitschko's once did in the heavyweight division.
